Tea Tree Essential Oil 

More commonly known as “Tea Tree,” Melaleuca essential oil has over 92 different compounds and limitless applications. The leaves of the Melaleuca tree were used by the Aborigines of Australia for centuries. They would apply crushed leaves directly to the skin for a cooling effect. Melaleuca is best known for its purifying properties. It can be used to cleanse and purify the skin and nails and to support a healthy complexion. Taken internally, Melaleuca promotes healthy immune function,* and Melaleuca can be used as a cleansing and purifying agent. Melaleuca is frequently used on occasional skin irritations to soothe the skin and diffusing Melaleuca will help purify and freshen the air.

10 Ways to Use Melaleuca

1. SAY GOODBYE TO RAZOR BURN!

Apply along with Lavender and/or Frankincense after shaving to soothe any skin irritation from shaving.

 

2. FUNKY FEET!

Spray a mixture of water, vinegar, and Melaleuca inside of shoes and directly on feet in to get rid of stinky odors and funky feet.

 

3. BLEMISH BUSTER!

Apply Melaleuca over blemishes twice a day to reduce redness and irritation.

 

4. REFRESH YOUR WASH!

Apply a 5 drops of Melaleuca to laundry detergent to refresh and clean your clothes. Or add 10 drops to detergent for a forgotten load.

 

5. SHOWER SPRITZER!

Mix 10 drops Melaleuca in a spray bottle and fill with 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 water and spray the shower after each use to keep the area clean!

 

6. HEALTHY SCALP!

Add a drop to your shampoo before applying to your scalp to relieve any irritation or dryness.

 

7. NO MORE PULLING ON YOUR EARS!

Apply Melaleuca around the outside of the ear or swipe the inside of the ear to provide relief from swimmers ear and ear infections. Remember to never drop oils directly in the ears!

 

8. BUTT BALM!

Apply a couple drops each of Lavender and Melaleuca in a base of coconut oil and apply to sore and irritated bottoms.
